In the six years since the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, the mainstream media in America has largely been a mouthpiece of the Bush administration. All of the major networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and others had until recently, been silently complicit in the cover-up of the events of that day, the un-Constitutional wars that would follow, and the steady erosion of our Constitutionally protected rights.

When the “9-11 Truth” community grew to the point that it could no longer be ignored, these same networks that had ignored the issue for so long began to attack individuals and groups of individuals who were seeking answers to the lingering questions which still remain about 9-11. As the success of various truth movements continues to broaden, these attacks have now escalated to include Peace activists, monetary reform activists, and now even supporters of Presidential candidate Ron Paul. Recent attacks have suggested that the 9-11 movement, Peace activists, and Ron Paul supporters are terrorists, and some in the media have implied that we should be silenced.

LET IT BE KNOWN THAT

• 1) We are proud Americans exercising our First Amendment Rights to free speech and the right to petition our government for a redress of grievances.
• 2) We categorically condemn and refute any and all attempts to associate us with foreign or domestic terrorism. Our entire mission is to oppose terrorism in all its forms, including false flag terrorism. We abhor violence in all its forms, whether committed by individuals or by governments.
• 3) We recognize that for six years the mainstream media in America has been woefully inadequate in covering any version of the events of September 11th which does not coincide with the “Official Story” put out by the government. We see this as silent complicity in the cover-up and demand accountability.
• 4) We also recognize that certain personalities have shifted from ignoring us to attacking us with lies and slander. We will not sit idly by as our good names and reputations are slandered and our freedoms are attacked.
• 5) Most attempts to get the mainstream media to report on the alternative version of the events of September 11th have been greeted with silence. When they have been forced to report on us, they have attacked us. This represents an obvious bias toward the “Official Story” and implies an organized effort to stymie our quest for the truth.

THEREFORE: We intend to compile a comprehensive Black List of the advertisers who support this anti-American programming and urge concerned parties to boycott these products and services until the product advertisements are pulled.

We take these attacks very seriously and regard them as a frontal assault on our freedom and liberty as Americans. The garbage coming from the talking heads makes a mockery of the First Amendment to the Constitution and MUST NOT go unopposed. We must take a stand against this kind of yellow journalism and we think we have a way to make these networks feel our presence.

All network television and radio are driven by advertising dollars. We can get the networks attention by targeting their sponsors, and therefore, have an impact on their advertising revenues. The most effective way of doing this is to boycott the products and services of the advertisers which choose to advertise on these various networks. There is strength in numbers and we need to make ourselves heard by hitting them where it hurts, in the pocket-book. This site is dedicated to beginning that process.

A Response to the Simon Wiesenthal Center and Mark Weitzman
— Richard Gage, AIA and contributors

AE911Truth.org is extremely concerned about the recent portrayal of our peaceful organization and website by the Simon Wiesenthal Center alongside Taliban militant websites at the recent “Homeland Security Hearing” hosted by Congresswoman Jane Harman. By implication we and other 9/11 Truth organizations are branded as terrorists. We are therefore actively pursuing non-legal and legal remedies. The following letter written to the SWC by John Stevenson is posted in order to also express our concern. We will post updates as events unfold. Thank you for your overwhelming show of support!

Dear Mr. Weitzman,

While I respect your efforts to prevent terrorism in all its forms, your suggestion that the 9/11 Truth Movement is in any way related to terror organizations, or could foment such interests, is ridiculous and dangerous.

The 9/11 Truth Movement is a non-violent effort by thousands (if not tens of thousands) of highly respected professionals in numerous areas of expertise (and potentially millions of other concerned citizens) to demand a legitimate and impartial investigation into the events surrounding the 9/11 attacks. There are countless weaknesses, flaws, and overt misrepresentations in the official account that are painfully obvious to those who actually KNOW something about the Systems and Material science involved in building collapse, as well as the numerous suspicious activities by government and various other domestic groups to suppress and even destroy evidence involved in this crime, for reasons at this point unknown. There are far too many important questions unanswered that can be answered with a legitimate investigation, rather than simply sweep this tragic crime under the rug. Is that what you suggest we do?

And if you are suggesting that simply demanding that a woefully inadequate investigation be conducted properly can in any way be aligned with terrorism, you do so in direct conflict with everything this country was founded upon, and in direct opposition to the basic principles of the U.S. Constitution — and that IS in some circles considered a crime.

While I believe your efforts are well-meaning, I strongly request, before you promote such assumptions, that you actually INVESTIGATE for yourself the aspects of 9/11 which are questioned by these experts I mention previously, and, regardless of your conclusion, refrain from incorrectly and libelously suggesting that anyone involved in this movement has any connection to terrorist activities or threats, simply based on their opinions or completely legal efforts in this regard. In doing so you denigrate the noble work the Simon Wiesenthal Center has done in the past, and the lives of those who died over the centuries for our freedoms. The right to freely question and investigate our government at any time and about ANYTHING is critical to the survival of our freedom and this country I love.

Bush is trying to set up OpEdNews as a “terrorist recruiter.”

Barbara Peterson’s Nov. 14 article points out how Bush’s Homeland Security is trying to make the case that web sites that publish articles questioning the events of 9/11 are terrorist recruiters. Given Bush’s recourse to calling everyone who doesn’t agree with him a terrorist and combined with his executive order confiscating all the worldly goods of anyone who disagrees with him, Barbara Peterson’s article didn’t get the attention it deserves.

The sinister effect of what Bush is doing is that Barbara’s article, this article, and others here on OpEdNews that question the motives of the Bush administration and the events of 9/11 can be determined to be “terrorist recruiters.”

I’m quoting and paraphrasing from Barbara’s article, but it is well worth repeating. Here’s the part from her article that makes the connection:

At a Homeland Security sub-committee hearing on terrorism risk assessment where the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth website is presented along with Taliban recruitment sites, training manuals and bomb making techniques, Representative Jane Harmon asked Bruce Hoffman, Chairman of the Rand Corporation in Counterterrorism and Counterinsurgency, “So this movement develops them into violent killers?” Hoffman stated that, “falsehoods and conspiracy theorists have become so ubiquitous and believed that you almost have some sort of parallel truth, and it has become a very effective tool for recruiting people.”

Barbara points out that Hoffman is talking about A & E for Truth, calling them conspiracy theorists and equating them with the recruiting sites of the Taliban.

If that were true, which it isn’t, Bush could determine that that is an act undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq.

Now, here’s the scary part that ties it all together.

Bush’s Executive Order of July 17, 2007, stripped down to its meaning:

“All property and interests in property of the following persons are blocked and may not be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn or otherwise dealt in, detemined by the Secretary of the Treasury, to pose a significant risk of committing an act undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq.”

Does questioning what happened on 9/11 pose a risk of undermining efforts in Iraq? That’s not for us to determine, that’s strictly up to Bush and his Treasury Secretary. We have no say in the matter, but if Bush takes it into his head that we might, could, maybe, possibly pose a risk, we lose everything we have. All we have to do is ask, “Is that the way it happened?”

Notice the lack of subtlety used by lumping professional architects and engineers in with Taliban terrorists. Bush is trying to get a handle on a way to shut down anyone who questions what happened on 9/11, starting with the web sites that have the most authoritative, professional people, the ones most likely to get at the truth. He’s afraid if they keep it up, the truth just might come out.

Bush has given it away, here. By trying to prevent the truth from coming out, by not wanting the truth exposed, he’s just making it more obvious that the truth can hurt him. That’s what he’s trying to hide.

By applying qui bono, who benefits, to this thing, we can draw some obvious conclusions. Five months after Bush took office, he was dragging along with a dismal 50% approval rating, and he hadn’t even done anything. There was nothing to approve or disapprove of but the nonentity, Bush, himself. He was nothing going nowhere. Right after 9/11, his approval rating shot up to a phenomenal 90% and he had just about the whole country kissing his ass, getting everything he wanted. And, he became what he always wanted to be, a self-described “War President,” using 9/11 as the basis of his lies to create his own, personal war.

The events of 9/11 benefited George Bush enormously, more than any other man. And, he’s going to use his executive order to confiscate everything we have to keep us from asking how that came about.

Ed Martin is an unindicted curmudgeon. He is not a Democrat, Republican, conservative, liberal, deist, atheist, or a member of any -ism.

Complaints and demands for a retraction and an apology are flooding CNN today after Neo-Con host Glenn Beck and ex-Marxist David Horowitz smeared Ron Paul supporters, libertarians and the anti-war left as terrorist sympathizers and inferred that the U.S. military should be used to silence them, parroting a talking point that traces back to a September 2006 White House directive.

This is part of an ongoing propaganda assault which has also been mimicked by other anti-American Neo-Con talking heads like Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh.

Beck opened up his show segment by inferring that the U.S. military should be used to silence domestic dissent against the war, claiming that those he would later identify as Ron Paul supporters, libertarians and the anti-war left and link with terrorists, were a “physical threat.”

Visibility 9-11 November Newsletter

Dear Friends,

Another month has passed and much has happened, even in the last 30 days to advance the cause for truth surrounding the events of September 11th. Be sure and check 911Blogger every day for all the daily 9-11 related news and happenings. If you don’t have an account there, create one. Then you can host your own blog and post 9-11 related information that you either create or come across. With many visitors/bloggers contributing, it can better be insured that nothing important will get by us. It’s a team effort and thanks to the 911Blogger team and all of its contributors!

Each month brings us closer and closer to our goal of realizing a new and truly independent investigation which will hold those responsible for their crimes, not only those crimes of 9-11 itself, but the crimes of the cover-up of 9-11, the subsequent assault on our freedoms, and the lies and un-Constitutional wars we have been dragged into. More and more activists are carrying the torch of 9-11 truth and are becoming educated and aware of just how out of control our government really is. All across the country, and indeed the world, truthers are picking up the banner for 9-11 truth and hitting the streets. I recently watched the movie Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. I have seen the film several times and also read the book and always get something new from watching or reading this work. I highly recommend first, the book, but secondly, the movie is also very well done. As with any book vs. movie, the book is always much better and generally contains far more detail than the movie can provide. This is certainly true in this case…get the book! Perhaps easier than getting the book, you can hear an audio recording of the book here. If you don’t have time or for whatever reason and the book is not an option, you can watch the film production of the book here. Lastly, I put together a program some time ago which consisted of a recording of a radio broadcast from 1948, the year Nineteen Eighty-Four was published, and featured an NBC University Theater production of the work starring David Niven as Winston Smith.

As you look around our world today, after reading Orwell, you cannot help but see this vision taking place before your very eyes. From the perpetual, non-ending war waged by the Ministry of Peace, to the torture emanating from the Ministry of Love, to the prosecution of thought crime by the Thought Police, we see evidence of the methods of control used by Big Brother all around us today. One such Orwellian method of control is vividly illustrated in this month’s newsletter in the article below by Arabesque titled Disinformation and the Misleading and False LIHOP/MIHOP Dichotomy. Albeit subtle and unrecognizable to most people, this article highlights a stunning example of what Orwell called Newspeak.

Simon Wiesenthal Center presents 9/11 sites alongside radical Jihadist sites to House Hearing on “Terrorism and the Internet”

On Tuesday, November 6, 2007, a House Homeland Security Subcommittee had a hearing on “Terrorism and the Internet”. The hearing featured presentations from several groups, including the RAND Corporation, and Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. The hearing was chaired by Democratic Rep. Jane Harman, and ranking Republican, Rep. Dave Reichert.

Toward the end of the hearing, Weitzman rolls out a PowerPoint presentation that presents a few 9/11 truth sites sandwiched in between websites that offer training in terrorist tactics, and a website that glorified the attack of 9/11. Among the websites presented under the heading “Internet: Incubator of 9/11 Conpiracies and Disinformation”, are Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, and other sites, such as Killtown’s, who brought this Hearing to our attention.

Now, we wouldn’t want anybody getting the wrong idea here. Here at 911blogger we are opposed to any and all terrorist activities, including STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM. Don’t really care who the state is either. It’s all bad.

Californians, if Harman is your representative, please set her straight. Washington state, if Reichert is your critter, don’t let him absorb this crap with no static.

CSPAN has been more than fair to 9/11 skeptics. Last year they broadcast Alex Jones’ American Scholars Symposium, in 2005, they broadcast David Ray Griffin, and they will probably listen to feedback regarding this broadcast.

View the hearing as a video stream here — the pertinent section begins at the 43:31 mark, but I recommend watching the entire program, because there is so much disinformation in the broadcast itself, it’s hard to know where to begin unraveling it.

Loveland, CO – A spur of the moment decision by campaign staff and a local State Representative brought presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to a small Colorado town one hour north of Denver on Saturday where local 9/11 truth activists would take full advantage of the opportunity to confront the former mayor about his potential foreknowledge of the September 11th attacks.According to the Reporter Herald Giuliani’s staff put a required fundraising minimum on the event of $60,000 in order to bring “America’s Mayor” to the small town. Speaking about the short notice and the minimum dollar amount state Rep. Don Marostica, a staunch supporter of Giuliani’s presidential bid said “They called me last Friday (and) said you have 11 minutes to make a decision, or else we’re going to take him to Lincoln, Neb.,” Marostica’s assurance that he could raise at least the established amount, paved the way for a visit to this small venue that was kept open to the public.

From 9:15am to noon Giuliani would be visiting 3 separate events in the small towns of Loveland and Windsor. The latter two were private brunches in Windsor where local supporters could pay between $1,000 and $2,300 per plate to attend the fundraising event. However the first stop was the Loveland Coffee Co., a small coffee shop no bigger than a modest living room, to greet the public and get a feel for what’s on their mind, a perfect venue for a local 9/11 truth activist group to ask some tough questions regarding the role Giuliani played on 9/11.

Members from WeAreChangeColorado.org and TruthAlliance.net teamed up with New York 9/11 researcher and Chief Editor of the New York Megaphone newspaper Sander Hicks to perform a well coordinated truth action event targeted at Rudy Giuliani. Mr. Hicks was in town giving an interview for the groups as well as speaking at a 9/11 truth event in Denver for Colorado911Visibility.org. After arriving at the Coffee shop a little after 9:15a.m. Rudy Giuliani underwent numerous confrontations with 9/11 truth activists inside and outside during his 35-minute stay at the coffee shop. The highlights can be seen in the following video.

In this special broadcast of Visibility 9-11, Michael once again guest hosts for Words of Freedom with George Flynn. Former Dallas Cowby Tells It Like It Is: “I Suspected 9/11 Was a False Flag Attack From the Beginning”

and Iraq…This legendary offensive lineman now blocks for the truth

Future NFL Hall of Famer, Mark Stepnoski, recently received some internet buzz for a ubiquitous article in the Erie Times News and his interview add-on supporting the 9-11 truth movement. On November 6, 2007 Jack Blood interviewed Mark Stepnoski about his beliefs on what happened that day, September 11, 2001, on his syndicated daily radio show, Deadline Live, on November 6, 2007.

Mark Stepnoski’s pro career in the NFL was spent with the Dallas Cowboys (1989-1994, 1999-2000), and the Houston Oilers (1995-1998). Stepnoski won two Super Bowls while with the Cowboys and was a five time Pro Bowler, attending the game from 1992 through 1996. Also notable among his achievements are the contributions he made to help Emmitt Smith become the all time rushing champion of the NFL.

This was the first time Stepnoski acknowledged his beliefs that the government has lied to us, the people, about what happened on 9-11 on talk radio.

Stepnoski, who is extremely well read and advocates literacy in America, went on to give a long list of book reviews from the most well know researchers in the 9-11 truth movement. Webster Tarpley, Peter Dale Scott, Nafeez Ahmed, and Mike Ruppert were mentioned among others. He praised 911 blogger.com as a central portal for information about 9-11 and a historical perspective of false flag terrorism, and discussed meeting William Rodriguez – a man decorated by President Bush as a hero on 911, and who has for many years toured the world as a 911 Truth Icon.

Stepnoski also elaborated on his support for Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul, discussed the conspiracy centered around the Oklahoma City bombings, and the propaganda surrounding the death of Pat Tillman, a patriotic NFL superstar who was shot and killed in Afghanistan by his own men and used for propaganda and as a recruitment poster by the Bush administration.

“At The time I seriously thought to myself?Is this an act of a foreign government? Or is this a False Flag attack by the Military” said Stepnoski who added into the conversation several points that indicate an inside job. Building 7 and the fact that no steel building had ever fallen from fire, yet on 911 three had accomplished this feat. The insider trading, or “put options” that took place before 911 also concerned Mr. Stepnoski.

Of course, Bill O’Leilly, Sean Vanity and the people at NFLcentric, bread and circus centric, Orwellotron Faux news network will say that Mark Stepnoski is an offensive lineman and therefore has no right to read, speak or think. That he’s just a dumb animal who was owned by one of the many billionaires in sports franchise today. That he took too many shots to the head. That he once knew a guy who took steroids that he owned a pit bull or that he knew someone who owned a pit bull. That he smoked too much weed, and that he is a citizen of crazy town. But Stepnoski can cut block any ad homonym attack by relying on the resources of the facts which are widely known by at least fifty percent of America as the polls prove. Mark Stepnoski should be a hero amongst all sports fans and truth fans everywhere and besides, he’s too big to argue with.

Why was nothing done to improve FDNY radio performance for seven years after a clear need was demonstrated in the 1993 World Trade Center attack?

When new radios were finally ordered, why did the city award a contract to Motorola without a competitive bidding process?

Once Motorola was given the contract, why did its cost jump from $1.4 million to $14 million?

Why were these new radios never field tested?

No, this is not the answer to the distortions of Rudy Giuliani’s campaign and administration. This is just the beginning.

But it is a helluva start!
