An In Depth Interview with Bob McIlvaine – Visibility 9-11

An In Depth Interview with Bob McIlvaine – Visibility 9-11

Notes by John Bursill

In this in depth interview with tireless 9/11 Truth campaigner Bob McIlvaine, we look at 9/11 in its historical context.  We also hear about Bob’s detailed research into what happened to his son Bobby on 9/11 and the evidence an explosion other than the planes killed his son.

As a long term 9/11 Truth researcher (2001) , an ex-history teacher and someone who has worked in mental health, Bob has a unique perspective on society and it’s drives.  In this interview Bob gives us a insight into how he sees the world and it’s working’s and why 9/11 Truth should be seen as possibly the best chance we’ve had at bringing peace to our world. Bob believes that we may have already been successful at preventing other wars with our exposure of the 9/11 fraud; I totally agree.

Bob says he is “always ready to go!” when he is called to speak about the 9/11 tragedy and uses every opportunity to educate the population about the lies they have been told and to celebrate his sons short but exceptional life.  Thank you Bob for your tenacity, drive and absolute commitment to expose the criminal’s responsible for your sons death and all those that perished on that terrible day.  You are a great inspiration for us all!

About Bob: Bob Mcilvaine is the father of Bobby McIlvaine, a victim from the 9/11 attacks.  Bobby graduated from Princeton University, and managed to get a job at Merrill Lynch as “Assistant Vice President For Media Relations.”  He was also engaged to be married for a 2002 wedding.  On 9/11/2001, he was on his way to banking conference on the 106th floor of the World Trade Center North Tower, and was killed as a result of what happened that day.  From the evidence Bob has gathered it is apparent he was killed by an explosion, likely in the lobby.  Bob has been one of the most outspoken 9/11 Family Members with regards to seeking truth, accountability, and justice for what happened that day. He is one of the family members that attended every 9/11 Commission hearing and has attended numerous 9/11 truth conferences around the world.  He has appeared in several TV, radio, and newspaper interviews, as well as the documentary, 9/11: Press For Truth.

9/11 Families Press Judges on Sifting at Landfill

9/11 Families Press Judges on Sifting at Landfill
December 16, 2009
The New York Times

fresh killsIn an effort that has stretched nearly a decade, some families of 9/11 victims have fought to have the remains of their relatives identified and put to rest.

In 2002, they organized as the WTC Families for Proper Burial Inc. They sued the city in 2005, then appealed after they lost in 2008.

On Wednesday, in a spirited hearing interrupted occasionally by gasps, a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit listened to arguments on behalf of the 17 plaintiffs in what is quite likely their final legal chance. The families seek to have nearly one million tons of material from Fresh Kills on Staten Island, where debris from the World Trade Center collapse was taken, moved to a nearby site so it can be sifted and put in a cemetery.

“It comes down to this: Are we prepared to leave hundreds of body parts and human remains on top of a garbage dump?” said Norman Siegel, the lawyer for the plaintiffs, arguing that to do less would deprive relatives of their constitutional rights.

The group of plaintiffs, which says it has support from 1,000 other relatives, was challenging a July 2008 decision by Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein of Federal District Court, who found that city workers had done everything in their power to find remains.

But as it did last year, the city argues that the plaintiffs have no claims to the remains because they cannot prove they belong to their relatives, which also makes them ineligible to bring a complaint on behalf of non-family members. The removal would also be too costly, the city says.

In the hearing’s sharpest exchange, when Judge Anthony O. Calabrese Jr. asked what it would take to prove someone’s identity, James E. Tyrrell, a lawyer representing the city, said, “You have to be able to particularize and say it’s your body part.”

“All that’s left here is a bunch of undifferentiated dust,” Mr. Tyrrell added, eliciting gasps and muttered “no’s” from a crowd whose members wore laminated photos of deceased relatives around their necks.

But Diane Horning of Scotch Plains, N.J., whose son Matthew worked on the 95th floor of the north tower, said she found many trade center-related items at the landfill on dozens of trips there. She produced some of them outside the courtroom.

A corroded key, marked with the words “World Trade Center,” came from a gulley formed after a rainstorm, she said. In a plastic bag, there were two sizeable bone fragments that Ms. Horning said came from Fresh Kills, though she had never had them tested for DNA to see if they belonged to victims of 9/11.

With methane gas bubbling up from the soil there, “it’s a disrespectful, dishonorable place,” said Ms. Horning, the president of the group.

During the hearing, which was also presided over by Judge José A. Cabranes and Judge Barrington D. Parker, Mr. Siegel accused the city of reneging on its promise to set aside victims’ remains, a change in policy that he said happened in July 2002.

“They commingled it, and then they dumped it,” Mr. Siegel said of the remains’ being mixed with household trash, adding that a Fresh Kills worker had witnessed city employees use that mixture to fill potholes.

The reference brought a shake of the head from Valerie Speller, who was there to honor her brother John Candela, who worked in the north tower.

“I think the whole thing’s pretty deplorable,” Ms. Speller said after the hearing. “I don’t think there was any human compassion from the city.”

9-11 Widow Beverly Eckert among Flight 3407 victims

Beverly Eckert, widow of 9-11 victim, was aboard Flight 3407

News Staff Reporters

The usually joyful meet-and-greet area of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport was a corridor of tears and sorrow early this morning as family and friends of those aboard Continental Express Flight 3407 filed in to get official word of their loved ones’ fates.

For Sue Bourque, the wait for confirmation regarding her sister, Beverly Eckert, was all too familiar. Eckert is the widow of Sean Rooney, a Buffalo native who lost his life in the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

Eckert was traveling to Buffalo for a weekend celebration of what would have been her husband’s 58th birthday. She also had planned to take part in presentation of a scholarship award at Canisius High School that she established in honor of her late husband.

Bourque said this morning that while the family had not yet received official confirmation of her sister’s fate, the reality was settling in. “We know she was on that plane,” Bourque said, “and now she’s with him.”

Eckert, Rooney’s high school sweetheart, continued to live in their home in Stamford, Conn., after the terrorists’ attacks of 2001. As co-chairwoman of Voices of Sept. 11, she pushed for a formal commission to investigate intelligence failures and for a proper memorial to the victims.

Family members and friends identified two other people believed to be on the plane as Ellyce Kausner, a graduate of Clarence High School and Canisius College who was studying law at Florida Coastal University in Jacksonville, and Maddy Loftus, a Buffalo State College graduate who lives in New Jersey.

Friends said Loftus was heading here for a weekend reunion of Buffalo State women hockey players. One friend said she may have been flying with other young women heading here for the same reunion.

“You never think this is going to happen to you,” Kausner’s aunt, Susan Leckey, also from Clarence, said at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. “It always happens to somebody else, and you see it on TV.”

Those waiting to pick up passengers from the ill-fated flight at the time of the crash were ushered to the USAirways Lounge, where airline employees answered general questions and offered consolation, beverages and snacks. A chaplain also was brought in to calm the distraught loved ones.

But formal confirmation was not expected to be given until later this morning, when Continental corporate officials could be flown to Buffalo.

“We know they’re dead. Why can’t they just tell us or take us to ID them,” said one grieving man who declined to give his name.

Passengers arriving for early morning flights also were subdued.

“I really don’t feel like getting on a plane right now,” said Runda Ry, who had driven from Toronto to catch a flight to Atlanta.

3 victims’ kin demand 9/11 justice

3 victims’ kin demand 9/11 justice
By Joe Dwinell
Boston Herald
Monday, December 15, 2008

Mike Low, the owner of an Arkansas mining operation, lost his daughter, Sara, on 9/11.

Three families whose loved ones died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks learn today if their years of refusing to quit will finally pay off in a trial date so they can expose airline security failures that allowed mass murderers to bring a nation to its knees.

“I would like some truth and accountability, and I want the public to hear it,” said Mike Low, father of Sara Low, a flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 11, the first jet to hit the twin towers.

The families of the late Mark Bavis, 31, Barbara Keating, 72, and Low, 28, will plead with Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein in Federal District Court in Manhattan today to allow an open trial against Massport, the airlines and security companies in Boston.

To date, nearly 3,000 families have agreed to more than $7 billion in private settlements that averaged $2 million each from the federal Victims Compensation Fund. Another 96 families initially held out for trial but have since settled.

Low said he won’t give in because he believes a courtroom trial will expose fatal mistakes made at Logan International Airport, where American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 left with hijackers on board.

“These three families are focused and adamant to tell their stories,” said Donald A. Migliori, the lead attorney on the case.

They also want a public archive established for all to learn from for generations, he added.

“Sara witnessed all the horrific carnage,” Low told the Herald in an exclusive interview. “She was active in identifying the hijackers and their weapons.”

Sara Low relayed information about the identities of the terrorists to another flight attendent who was making a cell phone call back to Boston aboard Flight 11 before it slammed into the north tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2001.

“Parental pride far overrules any pain,” Low said, explaining what keeps him going.

He added that Sara, who had just moved into a new apartment in Boston, boarded her jet and bravely battled the hijackers almost immediately.

“In her last 30 minutes, she focused on her job,” said the soft-spoken Arkansas businessman.

For one retired Federal Aviation Administration official from Boston, the families are on the cusp of history.

“We owe them a debt of gratitude, especially for their efforts to create a public archive of information,” said retired FAA Special Agent Brian F. Sullivan.

Massport officials, named in the suits, have repeatedly refused all comment while any cases are pending.

“If (Hellerstein) sets the trial date, it will be huge,” Migliori said.

9/11 kin barred from Gitmo trial

9/11 kin barred from Gitmo trial

BY JAMES GORDON MEEK

WASHINGTON – When the architects of the 9/11 attacks are charged this week at Guantanamo Bay for killing nearly 3,000 Americans, the victims’ families won’t be allowed to witness it.

The Defense Department outraged 9/11 families by belatedly disclosing that just one victim’s relative – GOP loyalist Debra Burlingame, whose brother Charles died in the attacks – was secretly invited to attend.

“This government cannot be upfront and honest,” said Rosemary Dillard of Detroit, whose husband, Eddie, died aboard the hijacked jet that struck the Pentagon. “It was very underhanded.”

The stunned families learned of Burlingame‘s invitation to the arraignment of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four of his henchmen at the U.S. naval base in Cuba only after the Daily News made inquiries on Friday.

Widow Monica Gabrielle, whose husband, Rich, died in the twin towers, said, “They’re pitting family against family. It’s outrageous.”

Several relatives, such as Dillard, told the Pentagon and Justice Department during a Feb. 25 meeting that they wanted to go. Instead of creating a lottery, Pentagon victim-liaison officer Karen Loftus left them in the dark.

Dillard burst into tears when Loftus told her Friday about Burlingame’s covert ticket to Gitmo.

“I’m angry, I’m very upset about it,” said Dillard, who attended 9/11 commission hearings and never missed a day of Al Qaeda goon Zacarias Moussaoui‘s death penalty trial.

Burlingame, a staunch defender of the Bush administration, spoke in support of the President at the 2004 GOP convention and has personally savaged other 9/11 family members who questioned his decisions.

She was invited as an “observer” to offer a political counterpoint – alongside conservatives from the American Legion and Judicial Watch – to human rights watchdogs critical of the untested military system for trying terrorists, a red-faced defense official said. She did not respond to a request for comment.

Navy Cmdr. Jeffrey Gordon denied the Pentagon was playing politics at the expense of 9/11 families. He promised officials “will come up with a solution” that addresses how 9/11 families can watch future proceedings.

THE MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX AND 911 TRUTH: Understanding the History Channel Hit Piece

The Military Industrial Complex and 911 Truth: Understanding the History Channel Hit Piece
by Jack Blood

It wasn’t so much what they said, but what they didn’t say.

On August 20th 2007 a “Program” aired on GE’s History Channel titled 9/11 Conspiracies – Fact or Fiction. Word had already leaked out that this was a laughable hit piece centered around Popular Mechanics. (Hearst Publishing – synonymous with Yellow Journalism, and already guilty of using the tragedy of the USS Maine to inflame patriotism to wage a war with Spain in 1898, the same Hearst Publishing who holds a controlling stake in the History Channel via its stake in the A & E Television Network.)

pm_issue.gifHaving watched many a History Channel Documentary I am quite familiar with their format. Raise the charges, er… “conspiracies” – then give the shills, er… “experts” the final say poo pooing the evidence and theories. Case closed. (Posner reference intended)

Before debunking the “debunkers” we should look at the positives, and being the eternal optimist I can always find something positive in almost every situation. Take 911 for example. Without it many of us would still be asleep and plugged firmly into the Matrix. Without discovering 911 as a fear based mind control program many of us would still be unaware of the myriad of other programs running perpetually, such as Fiat currency, security for liberty, global government, social engineering, or weapons of mass distraction.

As the show opened I couldn’t help but say to myself that they are doing our work for us, as they showed much of the footage that speaks for itself. They ask some of the questions we have been pushing to be asked for 6 years, and they posted polls showing that the “movement” is monolithic, mammoth, and growing by the second. So all of this can be seen as a plus for the Freedom Movement (Maybe this is hard to comprehend for “truthers” who are generally leaders and not followers, but the average person takes their cues on what to believe by their environment, and what leaders are doing around them. If large numbers of the populace believe there was a cover up then its OK for them to buy it as well. And we are off. A new fad is born… Baaabaaaa baaa baa)

Many people were mentioned who had done exhaustive research on 911 – Webster Tarpley, Loose Change, David Ray Griffin, Alex Jones, 911 Mysteries: Sofia, Thierry Meyssan, and others… (They also used many people who are not as reliable.)

The 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund: Cui Bono?

The 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund: Cui Bono?

by Jerry Mazza
Online Journal Associate Editor

June 22, 2007

Thursday, June 14 — I’m taking notes in Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein’s spacious courtroom atop the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse at 500 Pearl Street in New York. This as lawyers from United Air Lines, American Airlines, Boeing Corporation, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, World Trade Center Properties, et al, make a motion for a determination of applicable law and for dismissal of all punitive damage claims as well as certain government discovery in the 9/11 damage suits.

The fleet of high-priced lawyers fills half the paneled courtroom. A packed gallery fills the other half. Among the corporate legal fleet are a smaller number of lawyers for the remaining plaintiffs who did not take the 9/11 Victim Compensation money. One of plaintiffs’ lawyers, Greg Joseph, is noted to say, “Any trial is a good trial.”

The corporate lawyers parry and thrust in legalese with Judge Hellerstein. They seem to admire their own wit, deferring to his, his quips, assertions of power, interruptions and anecdotes. A certain sense of gravity seems lacking as the sad gray sky fills the huge windows, just a handful of blocks from the perished towers and their lost lives, which is what this is supposed to be about if I’m not mistaken.

Eligibility for the Victim Compensation Fund required victims’ “physical harm or death” as a result of one of the crashes, or being the personal representative of a deceased victim. But the hook, the big quid pro quo is the waiver of a claimant’s right to file suit if he or she filed for fund money. The moment he or she submitted an application for fund money, he or she could forget about a suit against the airlines or the government.

9/11 families jeer Rudy – Protesters say he’s not fit for White House

Inside the Bay Ridge Manor, smiling supporters may have been toasting former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani with a bit of the bubbly and nibbling on slices of birthday cake.

But, it was a vastly different scene outside. Penned beyond metal barricades, across the street from the catering hall, which is located at 476 76th Street, protesters holding signs were making it crystal clear that they had little truck with “hizzoner,” who currently is running for the Republican presidential nomination and whose fundraiser was in full swing beyond the building’s brick façade.

Their purpose in protesting was directly tied to Giuliani’s presidential aspirations. As he tries to make his way to the White House, he is attempting to capitalize on his image as the hero of 9/11.
