After the 9/11 attacks, Jon took part in the “patriotic binge” as Dr. Michael Parenti likes to describe it. He believed in “revenge,” and wanted those responsible for the atrocities of that day to be held accountable. War was the “right” thing to do.

Then, in January 2002, President George W. Bush, and Vice President Dick Cheney called Senator Tom Daschle’s office, and asked him specifically not to investigate the attacks. This made Jon ask the question, “what are they trying to hide?” Then, over time, different pieces of information came out that showed this administration, and several of our elected officials were lying about the attacks, and doing their very best to cover-up those lies.

Since the end of 2002, Jon has worked tirelessly at trying to expose these lies, and the several cover-ups that have tried to hide them. He firmly believes that the 2,973 people that were murdered that day don’t deserve to have their names used in the way this Government has. He firmly believes their families deserve closure, and justice for what happened to them, as does the rest of this country and the world. He still wants those responsible to be held accountable, but he wants to make sure those REALLY responsible are exposed, and the nightmare known as the “Post-9/11 World” is no more. Jon is also a huge advocate for the 9/11 First Responders that have been lied to and neglected by their Government in their time of need.
