The Agency, a major CBS drama series about the CIA that began being broadcast in late September 2001, featured storylines with remarkable similarities to the 9/11 attacks and the anthrax attacks that occurred in the U.S. shortly after them. One of the show's executive producers said the parallels were so apparent that "people are asking me, 'Are we showing the bad guys our script?'" because "it seems like they're kind of following, in some ways, things that we're doing." [1] Significantly, these storylines were written before September 11, and the show was made with extensive assistance from the CIA. Some of the show's storylines, including those resembling 9/11 and the anthrax attacks, were actually suggested to one of the writers by the CIA. [2]

Two events recalled a passage from the Irish poet William Butler Yeats' "The Second Coming":

Yeats (1865-1939) wrote "The Second Coming" in 1919 to describe the moral devastation of post-WWI Europe. The "mere anarchy" is not the laissez-faire version of contract and consent between free individuals which produces good will and prosperity. The "mere anarchy" is chaos, a Hobbesian society of all-against-all that comes in the wake of sustained violence. It is a society that guts decency, loots productivity, and rewards the worst within men.
Yeats could be describing America today. Or, at least, the America that might well be tomorrow. The center cannot hold.
The first event was a quiet one; as of yet, it is an event on paper only. On May 13th, 2013, a new rule went into effect. The US Code "Defense Support of Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies" was altered by the Department of Defense to read:
"Federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the President is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances because:
(1) Such activities are necessary to prevent significant loss of life or wanton destruction of property and are necessary to restore governmental function and public order; or
(2) Duly constituted Federal, State, or local authorities are unable or decline to provide adequate protection for Federal property or Federal governmental functions."

A whistleblower has revealed extraordinary information on the U.S. government’s support for international terrorist networks and organised crime. The government has denied the allegations yet gone to extraordinary lengths to silence her. Her critics have derided her as a fabulist and fabricator. But now comes word that some of her most serious allegations were confirmed by a major European newspaper only to be squashed at the request of the U.S. government.
Sen. Angus King, I-Maine:
"I've only been here five months, but this is the most astounding and most astoundingly disturbing hearing that I've been to since I've been here," King told the witnesses. A significant number of movies and television dramas were being produced at the time of the 9/11 attacks, which had storylines with some remarkable similarities to the events of September 11, 2001. These storylines featured incidents such as terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, terrorists hijacking a commercial aircraft, and terrorists causing a jumbo jet to crash in New York.
The movies and TV shows would have featured some famous actors, and were being made for major companies, such as CBS and 20th Century Fox. Furthermore, employees of the military and other U.S. government agencies are known to have assisted in developing the storylines of some of these productions. Unsurprisingly, after September 11, the movies and TV shows were either canceled or significantly rewritten so as to remove any resemblance to the 9/11 attacks.
The existence of these movies and TV dramas, at the very least, disproves claims that the 9/11 attacks could not have been foreseen. It is worth considering, however, whether these productions served a more sinister purpose in relation to 9/11, albeit unknown to most of the people working on them.

At the Journal of 9/11 Studies, we have published two new articles. The first is from Dr. Timothy Eastman and professional engineer Jonathan Cole. It is titled "WTC Destruction: An Analysis of Peer Reviewed Technical Literature." Here's the abstract:
"The importance of understanding the mechanisms of collapse for the three World Trade Center buildings on September 11, 2001 cannot be over-estimated, for these unusual collapses and their disputed causes raise questions regarding all future steel-frame building design. A literature review was conducted to identify the evolving trend in research results in this area, which have become increasingly diverse over time. Recommendations for further research are presented."
The second article is from German researcher Paul Schreyer. It is called "Radar loss on 9/11." Here's an excerpt:
"The radar coverage of the United States airspace is nearly complete. In particular the northeastern area, where all four hijackings took place on 9/11, has no “gaps” whatsoever in radar coverage. Nonetheless there was radar loss on 9/11 with respect to the third hijacked plane, American Airlines Flight 77, which was reported to have hit the Pentagon."

Edmonds translated terror-related communications for the FBI right after 9/11. In that capacity, she read communications between terrorists and other radicals.

After hearing Rachel Maddow's recent attack on 9/11 Truth and her assertion that those who don't believe the U.S. government's official story get a satisfied feeling from their "conspiracy theories", 9/11 victim's family member Bob McIlvaine's immediate response was, "I wish she would say that to my face".
The German Section of the International Association of Lawyers against Nuclear Arms (IALANA) and the Centre of European Law and Politics at the University of Bremen, Germany, organized a high-level conference that took place from 26 - 28 April 2013 at the University of Bremen. Title: "Quo vadis NATO? - Challenges for Democracy and Law"
Among the speakers were:

My own short presentation on April 27th covered the circumstances of the creation of the 9/11 Commission, the missing evidence regarding Bin Laden and the 19 alleged hijackers, and the anomalies of the air defense on 9/11. I also mentioned "Vigilant Guardian". And I informed the audience about the 9/11 Consensus Panel and their website.
Daniele Ganser, who spoke before me, covered Gladio and also discussed WTC 7, including a presentation of a videoclip of the tower´s collapse. Many of the conference´s participants acknowledged that they hadn´t known about these facts before.
The courageous decision of the organizers to include 9/11 truth into a high-level conference about NATO and legal aspects of war and peace is remarkable and a new step towards greater public awareness of these issues.
With a new release of more than 120 official intelligence documents concerning the 9/11 attacks it becomes even more clear that the Bush Administration had very strong cause to anticipate the 9/11 attacks. Documents included clearly suggests that the 'attacks were imminent,' calling into question claims by the Bush Administration that it had no advanced warning.

According to a new study by the World Trade Center Health Program, cancer rates among World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers are 15% higher than the general population.

In a scathing op-ed a New York Times writer reveals details of Presidential Daily Briefings before the 9/11 attacks that contained numerous, very specific warnings about an impending attack. The article reveals that the warnings were ignored and then after the attack suppressed by the Bush Administration from inclusion in the 9/11 Commission investigation and report.
A document declassified this week by the National Security Archive reveals that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) delivered a briefing to the Bush administration which directly contradicts former Vice President Dick Cheney’s claim that 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta visited an Iraqi intelligence official in Prague.

In several of the latest emails to emerge from Wikileaks' Global Intelligence Files release, Stratfor CEO George Friedman and Vice President of Intelligence Fred Burton speculate on the fate of Osama bin Laden's corpse, with Burton suggesting that a sea burial wasn't likely ["I don't see the FBI nor DOJ letting that happen"] and then later confidently stating that the body was being transferred to Dover, Delaware and then on to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Bethesda, Maryland. The mortuary at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware disposed of some body parts of the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks by burning them and dumping the ashes in a landfill, an independent panel said in a report released on Tuesday. The report said the remains were cremated and placed in containers provided to a biomedical waste disposal contractor, who then incinerated them and put them in the landfill.
Seventeen local health workers have been fired in Abbottabad for their part in a CIA scheme to try to confirm the presence of Osama bin Laden in the northern Pakistani town. The low-ranking health department employees were punished for helping Dr Shakil Afridi, who was assigned by the CIA to set up a fake vaccination scheme in Abbottabad, ahead of the 3 May US military operation that found and killed the al-Qaida leader there.

The director of the National Security Agency has warned that the hacking group Anonymous could have the ability within the next year or two to bring about a limited power outage through a cyberattack. Gen. Keith Alexander, the director, provided his assessment in meetings at the White House and in other private sessions. Possible scenarios discussed included one in which a foreign government developed the attack capability and outsourced it to a group like Anonymous, or if a U.S. adversary like al Qaeda hired hackers to mount a cyberattack.
The FBI has uncovered another FBI-created terrorist plot in the DC Area today, this time ending with the arrest of an unnamed Moroccan-American in his 30′s, apparently the only non-FBI agent in the entire scheme. The FBI says the operation was a “lengthy and extensive” one, and their agents pretended to be members of al-Qaeda, furnishing the arrested man with a phony suicide vest they had created and told him to attack Capitol Hill with it.
Slashdot, the hugely popular technology site with a long history of opposition to 9/11 truth topics, has reported on Kevin Fenton's discovery of the identity of Richard Blee, the CIA manager in charge of the unit where agents deliberately withheld information about two 9/11 hijackers from the CIA.
