In June of 2007, I was asked to guest host for George Flynn on his dynamic talk show Words of Freedom heard every week on KRFC 88.9 FM in Fort Collins Colorado. As my regular listeners know, George has been my mentor in the field of broadcasting and is the person singly most responsible for getting me involved in my own program. I had in the past been a guest on Words of Freedom many times and in 2004-2005, guest hosted for George on numerous occasions when he was hosting his 2 hour Words of Freedom program on The American Freedom Network. This gave me a rare opportunity to get important 9-11 information out to the public, and also inspired in me the desire to host my own program. Visibility 9-11 was launched soon thereafter.
This equally rare opportunity to host Words of Freedom on KRFC was something I eagerly accepted. With the format being a ½ hour program with no commercial interruption, and a progressive audience who have rarely been exposed to the alternate view of the events of September 11th, my goal was to get some of the strongest voices in 9-11 Truth and present, at a basic level, an argument for a new investigation of 9-11. The result was the 5 interviews contained in this special report.
This episode of Words of Freedom welcomes to the program Shari Bernson, Membership Director and Executive Producer at KBDI-TV, Channel 12 in Denver Colorado. KBDI has taken bold steps in recent months with historic airings of 9-11 Press for Truth on June 3 as well as the August 15th, 2009 airing of 9-11 Blueprint for Truth. These fund raisers for the Denver PBS television station included a screening of these excellent documentaries along with in studio interviews with Kyle Hence, Ray Nowosielski, 9-11 family member Bob McIlvaine, and Richard Gage, AIA with members of Colorado 9-11 Visibility who were on hand answering phones.
Shari is a nationally recognized producer with over 20 years-combined experience in the television, entertainment and media. She has been a leader in her field and has raised over $17 million dollars for public television. Shari is also an on-air talent for KBDI and serves as the main host during these historic airings.
This interview contains excerpts from a longer interview and was broadcast on KRFC 88.9 FM in Fort Collins Colorado on August 3rd and again on August 17th, 2009. We think this program provides a valuable tool for 9-11 activists to take to the PBS stations in their area to better demonstrate the positive experiences of KBDI after making the decision to air programming with September 11th content. This interview features a behind the scenes look at some of the decision making processes which went into selecting these documentaries for airing, how 9-11 Press for Truth was received by the public, the role of the local 9-11 group, and the groundswell of support from the Colorado community and indeed from around the world.
This week, Words of Freedom host Michael Wolsey welcomes Tim Boyle, 9-11 activist and co-founding member of Colorado 9-11 Visibility.
Tim has been active in the Denver area since 2004 and has been an
integral part of the 9-11 Truth Movement in Colorado. Tim has
organized several large 9-11 events in Colorado and has traveled the
country seeking answers to the questions of 9-11.

The 2008 Spring Membership Drive at KRFC 88.9 FM presented a great opportunity for the launch of the first Week of Truth campaign, The National The Shell Game Buy In Week of Truth, April 16th â 22nd, 2008.
As I have pledged, Visibility 9-11 will be purchasing 10 copies of The Shell Game, by Steve Alten during the Week of Truth. As I considered what I would do with these 10 books, it occurred to me that KRFC was right in the middle of their bi-annual fund raising drive and that it might be possible to get on as co-host of Words of Freedom for a special episode of the show. My plan was to donate the 10 books to the station, offer them as a premium gift to contributors, and have Steve Alten on as a guest to kick off the Week of Truth buy in for The Shell Game. Long story short, David Peterson at KRFC gladly found me a 30 minute spot during the fund drive. This interview is a result of that collaboration.
